DTG Testing
DTG Testing Limited is a subsidiary company of the Digital Television Group (DTG).
The DTG established DTG Testing Ltd in 2000 to carry out interoperability testing on digital television receivers. As the needs of the industry have developed, so the activities of DTG Testing Ltd have expanded in response and now include:
- Conformance testing of DTT receiver products, including PVR/PDR/DTR devices
- Development of test materials for use by manufacturers
- Management of the Engineering Channel for over-air upgrades to receiver software
- Interactive application testing
DTG Testing Ltd and its Test Centre are elements of the DTG's activities in the building of the digital future which will see the computing, telecommunications, Internet and television industries increasingly addressing common markets. The Digital Television Group and DTG Testing Ltd will be the key to successful convergence of these once diverse technologies.
DTG Testing's Test Centre will continue to evolve and adapt to the needs of this process of convergence and to be ideally placed to solve the inevitable interoperability issues as they arise.
